Jonathan Brossard, the CEO and CTO of MOABI, will deliver the keynote address at Rust Day Paris 2025 on 25 June, an event organised by Systematic Paris-Region. The conference will bring together over 200 professionals, developers, and industrial decision-makers who use the Rust programming language, providing a platform to share their experiences and explore the practical applications of this rapidly evolving technology.
In his keynote speech, entitled ‘The Origins of Evil’, Jonathan will explore the fundamental category of cybersecurity problems known as ‘undecidable’ problems, of which memory corruption is a primary symptom. Memory corruption accounts for almost 70% of current exploitable vulnerabilities.
Mr Brossard will highlight the major advantages of the Rust language, which is particularly valued in the industry for its unique memory management system that theoretically guarantees the absence of such vulnerabilities. The presentation will therefore emphasise the importance of constant vigilance and a proactive approach to cybersecurity. Participants will also have a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of current challenges and explore how technological innovation can address these complex issues.
We look forward to welcoming you to Rust Day Paris 2025 to discuss these essential industry and cybersecurity issues.
